The dining room was cozy and warm, set in a charming old schoolhouse. It's quite small, so I recommend making a reservation. The cocktails were excellent; I enjoyed a delicious Old Fashioned. We started with the artichoke dip, and for our main course, we both had the salmon, which lived up to its reputation—it was fantastic. For dessert, we shared their homemade zucchini cake, which was simply amazing! We're looking forward to coming back when the weather is nice so we can enjoy dining outside. Great job!

We all had fantastic meals and enjoyed chatting with our friendly and efficient server, who made for a pleasant experience right from the start with a warm welcome. The food is clearly superior to that of most local restaurants. Although the acoustics aren't the best, it's understandable considering the property's history. While this didn't detract from our dining experience, those seeking a more intimate setting might prefer to ask for a table in the lovely private room located just off the main entrance. The Blackboard is truly a remarkable addition to the area's dining scene!
