My favorite local spot for takeout sushi. The rolls are of high quality, creative, and delicious, all at great prices. I always opt for the mixed platters and have never been let down. View all feedback.
What Ferdaws Bousselham doesn't like about Akemi:
Honestly the worst sushi I ever had, very poor quality and very small sizes comparing the majority of other places. The owner should really work on the quality of his products. View all feedback.
I just ordered from there for the first time. They are very helpful over the phone. Delivery was quick. The meal was heaven.
Absolutely delicious great portion size, and lovely service. I ordered for takeout (since we're all trapped at home) and they called to let me know when it was ready, were ultra pleasant on pickup, and very reasonably priced. Excellent quality fried items didn't taste oily, but fresh, and rolled items were perfect temperature.Really great lil gem.
Delicious sushis, very fairly priced, it was ready in no time, vrey nice people and they threw in a soup. We'll be ordering again for sure!

After two disappointing experiences with Sushi Time in Verdun, I opted for Akemi. The reviews seemed good so I gave it a try. First off, the woman (owner wife) who answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful, as I'm not a sushi expert. When the order arrived which was not long I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The shrimp roll and soup were both amazing, as were the sushi. I highly recommend this husband/wife restaurant to anyone, expert sushi eater, or not!
