After the meal, I asked the managing... read more The couple who run this place are wonderful. We had exquisite food, presented by a friendly woman who was kind and helpful. After the meal, I asked the managing couple to arrange a cab to drive us back to our hotel, and instead, the man drove us back in his car. It was a wonderful meal and evening and restaurant.

This is a restaurant worth coming back without any doubt. The beef was 'à point ' and so were the dessert and the red wine.

We arrived about 7pm and it was less than half full, but they seemed unable to... read more Our host had recommended this restaurant for it's good food and friendly service. We arrived about 7pm and it was less than half full, but they seemed unable to seat us without a reservation. We down the street and had dinner at the only Japanese restaurant we ate at during our time in France. On our way back at 9pm, L'Etal was less than one third full, so there wasn't a late night rush that prevented us being seated. Perhaps they just don't like Americans?
