I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar while chatting and watching NCAA football.
This is a nice spot if you're just looking to park while at work or passing through. However, keep in mind that there are no working bathrooms or showers available. The location is pleasant, as it's surrounded by water, and the prices are reasonable. A Dollar General is only about 2 minutes away, and Walmart is roughly 15 minutes away.
I went expecting a tent camping experience but was disappointed to find only fire ants. There was no fire ring or picnic table available. On the brighter side, the staff were very friendly.
This place is an absolute disaster. I wouldn’t trust anyone here. If you live in this area, be on guard about your belongings—they're likely to be stolen or taken without your permission. This has been the worst living experience I've ever had, and I would never want to go through it again. Jim Major is terrible and incredibly greedy; he didn’t even have the decency to give an eviction notice—he just cut off the power without any warning, leaving two children and two disabled women in the home. He really is a sad person. There is no place to live peacefully here. I would give it zero stars if I could.
