Seafood is available, as well. If you're looking for vegan suggestions, you can enjoy the hummus and pita platter, garden salad, soy-based burger, falafel platter, and spicy fries.

Large, dusty fans attempted to cool the room but didn’t do much to alleviate the heat, particularly since the air conditioning was lacking. The bathroom, located in the back, was very basic and rather rough around the edges. Ordering is done at the counter, and then you sit down to wait. They have a sign indicating that food may take longer because it is made fresh, which I can accept. However, on the day we visited, there was only one woman cooking, while another man handled orders at the register but didn’t assist her in any way when he wasn’t busy. While he couldn’t cook, he could have helped by retrieving items or preparing dishes, but he simply stood by. The cook was doing her best, but she was inefficient and overwhelmed. It seemed like she wasn’t coordinating with anyone else to speed up the process, and the kitchen did not appear to be well-equipped. We waited over 45 minutes for pancakes (which were not vegan) and falafel with hummus (vegan). In fact, we could have walked across the street, eaten a meal, and finished well before our order arrived. As for the food itself, it was mediocre at best. While it seemed fresh and the portions were decent, I can only give it a rating of 2 out of 5 instead of 1. I believe the main appeal of this restaurant is its kosher status. If that is important to you, it might be worth enduring the uncomfortable atmosphere, slow service, and average food. However, if kosher dining isn’t a priority, I would recommend seeking out a different restaurant.

We... read more Fantastic food and wonderful people—a perfect combination! The meal was truly remarkable, and it's clear that Bubby puts her heart into everything she makes. We arrived after closing time, but Bubby graciously prepared dinner for us because she wanted to ensure we had something to eat. I can't recommend Bubby's Bistro highly enough. Be sure to pay them a visit!
