This place is right opposite the old market. We sat ‘outside’, right next to the street but traffic so busy that cars could only crawl past so didn’t disturb us nor did any smoke as nobody lit up. We both had the lovely Fritto Misto, served with crispy bread rolls by a great waiter. The restaurant was full, right next to a couple of others that were nearly empty. Small restaurant without pretention, warm welcome, attentive service, a little too much waiting, but tasty dishes. we'll be back
This place is right opposite the old market. We sat ‘outside’, right next to the street but traffic so busy that cars could only crawl past so didn’t disturb us nor did any smoke as nobody lit up. We both had the lovely Fritto Misto, served with crispy bread rolls by a great waiter. The restaurant was full, right next to a couple of others that were nearly empty. A couple of Italian beers, a glass of local wine, all for under €30. Only poor note was the toilets. First of us to go, nothing to dry hands with, next visit they’d run out of loo paper.
We were totally charmed by the waiter here, who was the sweetest man. We ordered ravioli and it was deceptively small, in that we thought it wouldn't be enough but it really was. They gave us bread rolls and the most beautiful olive oil to eat, which was just lovely. This was incredibly cheap. Don't get me wrong, it is not a glamorous place, but charming and lovely for lunch. Would definitely go back!
The best pizza to be eaten, and the owners were. Domowa, serdeczna atmospherea!
