I... read more Never visit this place, especially with family and children. Very aggressive staff. It should be closed by the resort , because it is dangerous for tourists. I have witnessed the way they communicate with costumers, in a super aggressive way and even physically attacking people. There are already a number of complains to the Les Deux Alpes resort office from people that they have been attacked there. I felt like I am in some criminal place, not a family French resort.

Food was awful, service t... read more Due to it's amazing location, everyone wants to have a lunch there, but the view is truly the only thing that's good about this place. Food was awful, service too. After standing in the line for 15 minutes and then trying to find 1 dish that didn't have pork in it I don't eat pork) and didn't have bread, I was waiting for 20! minutes to get my order just to find out that there was a problem with a signal in the plastic thingie they gave me, which was supposed to indicate that the food was ready to pick-up. I did get a free brownie though.

When my children (5 year old and 7 year old) returned to the dining area after visiting toilets, the manager pushed them out not to allow back into the dining area. The kids got terrified and burst out crying. My sister and her husband confronted the manager and were physically abused. My brother in law had to go to hospital for treatment after. We reported this to the police and pressed charges against them. Tourist Office of Les Deux Alpes advised that there are many complaints about the restaurant. It is not a safe place. Especially for families with children. We were horrified to be abused in day light. The owner must loose their license to trade. We will be reporting this together with video and photo evidence and police report to the mayor Christophe Aubert too. The authorities must be made aware before a bad fatal accident happens. Refuge des Glaciers management must not be allowed to work in hospitality with people when their staff physically and verbally abuse their customers.

We were not subjected to a bag search as we had no bags with us snd to be fair the lady at the entrance was just doing her job as far we could see. Albeit it’s not a job anyone would want. I can see why people would bring on a picnic. There are lots of tables outside. Too many to police hence the bag check I guess and the views were spectacular but that’s were it ends! Poor service, ordered from the bar and given a buzzer, the place was not busy but it still took an age. Ordered a cheese and meat platter lefty of cheese but one tiny bread tool large fries were smaller than a large McDonalds portion according to our teen. Tiny hot chocolates, no cream and a surcharge on the plastic cups which no one mentioned so we did not get it back. All in all very disappointing food, drinks, service and value for money. On the plus side you did not have to go downstairs to the toilets but there was no hand towels or working g dryers. The stars are for the view.
