Enjoyed our lunch by the terrace, weather was great . Restaurant is a must stop for visitors. We had a main course and a desert in addition to few drinks and all was value for money. View all feedback.
What Timothy Braun doesn't like about L'O Vive:
I had been at this place in 2013 and had been pleasently surprised. What a change this year ... we stopped on a Thursday night. We were first told they were out of about half of the appetizers and there was no more filet mignon .I also noticed tehre was no 'Table d'Hote menu. My wife and I both ordered the soup, which was OK ... a bit heavy on the bacon flavour, but eatable. I ordered the bavette View all feedback.
We weren't planning to stop in here, but I wanted a cocktail and this place came up during my search.
Super busy and loud tavern but what else can we expect? The venue screams out a classic establishment with its wooden decor and dark lighting.
A busy, loud and bustling place on a Wednesday eveningJust a short wait for a seat at the bar where the service was attentive and personable.
I have been here a few times, as my daughter works at the hotel. I love eating breakfast on the terrace, so beautiful. I have also come to the brunches on Sunday, for Mother's Day and other special occasions . The breakfast is always good , service is very good , and friendly as well. I find the breakfast a little expensive, but a nice treat to be able to enjoy the beautiful weather, and watch the sail boats and activity on the water. Usually I go during the week, so it is quiet. The brunches are very well laid out and plenty of everything, and all you want to eat. Prices a little high for my budget, but well worth it every now and then for a treat!
The owner used to own a well known restaurant in Montreal. Food is beyond reproch and the service is excellent. A limited menu but there is something for everybody. You bring your own wine. Location is very near Vermont and makes it interesting with currency exchange. The terrasse is on the water with a great view. Highly recommend and worth the milage.
