I can’t even begin to put into words how good this was. I went to Bar Gelateria Pizzeria which is right next to Chiesa Cattolica Parrocchiale dei Santi Apostoli in Venice. Little restaurant with outdoor seating. I had lived right around the corner from there all summer one year but never went for more than a coffee. Just to echo the many other negative reviews. Avoid this place; they clearly hate their customers, so they'll no doubt be grateful if you do. I know if you go to Venice, you sort of expect to get ripped off, but this place takes it to a new level. We were charged 10 Euros for a tiny cappuccino and a tea (ie hot water and a tea bag). I know if you go to Venice, you sort of expect to get ripped off, but this place takes it to a new level. We were charged 10 Euros for a tiny cappuccino and a tea (ie hot water and a tea bag). We asked for Earl Grey and it was flatly refused without apology. You got the impression that the surly waiter charged the first and highest sum that came into his head. He made no attempt to hide his contempt for his tourist customers. There are hundreds of better cafés in Venice.
Surprising.
Its simple, I’ve never had a worst pizza in my life. I asked for a Funghi (mushroom) pizza and I got a margherita instead. When I told the old waiter that it was not what I ordered he went back to the kitchen, put some raw mushrooms on it and put it on the table without a word. I cut a small slice and it was so so bad. I’ve had frozen pizzas from the supermarket that would easily pass for 5 stars pizzas next to what I had. Oh and 10€ for 2 cokes. Anyway please please do a favor for your stomach and don’t go there NEVER
Delicious drinks reviews are not true must have been done by competitor. Low price great energy!
Very expensive. bad service. the waiter wanted to cheat with prices and change. do not recommend this place.
