Chebon - Venice

Very disappointing. We walked out of our way to get there, but wasn't worth it. Far less pastries available than shown in the photos. Maybe about 6 options. The two pastries we ordered were ok. No outside table service. Ordered a frappe and were told they don't have a machine for it even though it is on their menu. Instead, the kids ordered 2 cokes and she gave only one, then gave 2 cokes to next customer. We asked for the other coke that we had ordered, and she then said she didn't have any more. Also offered other customer lemons for their cokes, but did not offer to us. Employee came outside to smoke with friends. Earns two stars bcz of decent coffee and wifi worked. Went in for some vegan cornettos (Italian croissant). Got 3-4 different options. Very good. Recommended for vegans looking to try some vegan cornettos in Venice.

They have a couple of vegan options, I went and ate a croissant filled with red fruits and a kind of Neapolitan stuffed with a very good peach jam. Also a coffee with soy milk. I would add pictures but when I remembered I had already eaten half of everything:

When I went there, they only had a couple vegan cakes, nothing else vegan. Ok, coffee as well. The waitress spoke little English so couldn’t understand if they were just out of croissants I was hoping for (in the morning) or just on the menu irregularly. Updated from previous review on 2022-11-22

They had a few decent options for vegans, had two really nice pastries and then they can soy or rice milk for an extra € 0.20 nice staff as well, good to breakfast.
