Just off the main square is Piazzetta di San Marco, best known for its full frontal view of the Doge’s Palace !!! Caffe Chioggia opened in the mid-1800s in the Piazzetta di San Marco, across from the Doge’s Palace. What Diego Galindez doesn't like about Caffè Chioggia:
The coffee is very delicious, the croissant with chocolate EXQUISITE, but it is really EXPENSIVE! We had breakfast for 4 people, a drink each (coffee, tea and two juices) and a croissant each. We paid $75!!! It was much cheaper and more varied to have breakfast at the hotel for $15 per person. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast View all feedback.
Very bad, if you ask to go to the bathroom they put their hands on you, I don't recommend it Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very nice but overpriced Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Overpriced, cheap tea bags with 200 ml of half way warm water cost 10 EUR, no adds or sweeties. WC visit requires half an hour waiting in the queue. The staff looks not really willing to support or inform you, needs to be reminded for the order and bill. If you succeed to sit there the only because of the view to the square, palace and waterside. But try to get the table at the front, not in the gallery. Or use public opportunities to sit. Summary: I do not go there again.
