Roadhouse Grill - VENEZIA

The food was beyond belief, the Fillet steak I had was the best I have had in a restaurant cooker just how I like it. The service was quick efficient. English not great but better than my Italian, but we got by. Staff friendly and we didn't have to wait to be seated. We would certainly go again when next in Mestre. We didn't book, but unless you are going early I would, as it fills up quickly.

Stayed in the Novotel just over the road from this restaurant. We walked in at 19:30 and it was really busy. We were shown to a table within 5 minutes but then took 20 minutes to order after a local helped translate my disappointment. However I must point out the wait was worth it because the food was amazing. I shared the mixed grill with my wife and it blew us away. The steak was cooked to perfection.

This was one of the nearest restaurants to the hotel. The food was really lovely. You were always started on a complimentary bowl of peanut in the husk. The meat dishes were succulent and plentiful. I was never able to finish mine, much as I wanted to. The staff were friendly.
