What jennypphotography doesn't like about Osteria Leon Bianco:
Very ordinary. Have been in Italy for three weeks, this was our first night in Venice and our least favourite food experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. Great wine recommendation by staff but food was disappointing View all feedback.

My husband and I chose Leon Bianco after looking at other restaurants nearby. We liked that it seemed less touristy and more like a genuine Venetian experience. We liked the charming vintage ambiance with paneled walls, vintage lamps, and vintage photos on the walls. I had the house-made pasta with vegetables and it was excellent. The portion size was big enough to be filling, yet small enough to finish. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The seasoning was just right.. strong enough to be flavorful but not overdone. We also liked that the staff and owners let us enjoy our meal without often asking how are we doing or if we want anything else. We would definitely go back and recommend Leon Bianco.
Recommended to us by our hotel receptionist, and she was right: excellent unpretentious food at reasonable prices, with very friendly service. We ate here twice.
Good option near San Marco, no sides for the main, extra charge for water (typical in Venice), overall nice but a bit pricey
We stumbled across this little simple restaurant on our first day for a spot of lunch with family. There were 8 of us and they accommodated us very well in the little courtyard at the back, no idea from the front that there was even a courtyard to sit in, but it was very pleasant. Great selection of pastas and antipasti, the little mixed bruschetta was delicious as were the Hugo cocktails, which became our favourite during our stay in Venice.
