Contribute FeedbackWe read all bad reviews and came with mixed feelings. But we also read, seafood is highly recommended. So we took our chance and gave them an attempt... We started with a typical Venetian fish starter plate, which I would also recommend. As our main dish we tried the local seasonal fish plate that was excellent. In combination with the white housepipe we had an excellent experience. Can not refer to all bad reviews. Our table was outside the canal in the garden.
My partner and I eat here after being recommended it by our hotel receptionist. We had told the receptionist we wanted to try some local venetian cuisine rather than ‘touristy food’. The waiter at this restaurant recommended some great food to us, I had the crab gnocchi and my partner had the black squid spaghetti- both fantastic. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend, but it does get busy even on a Monday and off season so make sure you book.
Sono stato in questo ristorante tre volte tra dicembre e gennaio, sia a pranzo che a cena. Ho mangiato deliziosamente e bevuto bene. Il personale è molto gentile e cortese. Mi trovo sempre molto bene qui.
Menù semplice, accogliente e variegato. Ho scelto di ordinare la frittura di pesce, piuttosto abbondante ma parecchio unta e con poco gamberetti. Un po' deludente. Ottima la panna cotta con biscotti, servita su un mini tovagliolo di carta, a un prezzo di 2 € per il coperto.
We enjoyed some really hearty dishes, the waiters were so attentive and gave us the best of Italian hospitality there was. We had shell crabs and fresh shrimps that meet after a long day of travel
