La Caravella - VENEZIA

A lovely spot for a Romantic Anniversary Dinner! We were in itially worried that ti would be excessively noisy, due to the size of the restaurant, but the organization of most tables around the perimeter of the space allowed for easy conversation and a quiet atmosphere. The timing of the courses was excellent, we felt neither rushed not languishing. I am a vegetarian and enjoyed delicious and creative courses all exceptional! My husband had several courses of various seafoods all wee delicately prepared and light and fresh. The cozy bar for a drink was lovely the beverages were well crafted and exceptional, as well perhaps the finest martini that I have ever enjoyed! In my opinion, La Caravella is a must visit while in Venezia! We offer our sincere gratitude and accolades to the entire staff!

This is a very unassuming looking restaurant, small, charming and delicious food. Fabulous desserts. Attentive staff. We had a great time.

We came just for drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere so much we ended up getting food too. The drinks were perfectly made, tasted so delicious, and fairly priced. We decided to have the pesto and it was literally the best I've ever tasted. We ordered one portion to share and without asking they brought it out in two separate bowls each with its own garnish. It was so good we came back the next night because we both needed more. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always on hand when we needed something. They all spoke excellent English and we felt well looked after. Usually, we'd go to a few different bars during a night out but this was so good we decided to stay all evening trying out the drinks menu which is all superb.

When we visit venice, we always visit this bar. they simply love the atmosphere, the personal and the cocktails. theey are not cheap, but they get quality. it is great to try to get her way down the cocktail list, about 75 of them! absolutely recommended.
