Don't miss this bakery! I just spent the last 20 days in Italy and travelled from the Amalfi Coast to Venice and tried at least 4-5 bakeries a day! Hands down this was the BEST bakery I tried-in my opinion. The cookies and pasteries were the best-made from the finest ingredients. It was filled with locals and many special orders when we arrived. I stumbled across this little place during a morning wander, and didn't even think to look at the name seeing goodies through the window was enough to call me in! A very helpful lady assisted me in identifying vegetarian things to eat and which sweets would be good (the answer was basically everything and everything). I only wish I had room in my luggage to take home some of that pasta! In fact, the airy bread with tomatoes was so delicious that not moments after I pulled it out in a nearby alley to munch on, a seagull ACTUALLY swooped down and tried to snatch it out of my hands! The gall of that gull ... Can't blame her though, it was scrumptious. Definitely pop in for a visit!
A bakery on a cross alley between San Marco and Rialto with delicious everything! Pastries, fresh made bread, pizza,chicetti and sweets so good. And an amazing assortment of different types of dry pasta. My apartment was right next to it and I made it my morning stop each day. The ladies are lovely, happy and helpful inside and the place is beautiful. True Venice!!
My experience here was 50/50..the woman without makeup and dark curly hair served me but she seemed annoyed to be there and wasn't exactly nice with me, she wasn't rude but just like if i was disturbing her, my friend instead have been served by the young lady with the braid and she was very nice and friendly, by the way i can't give a bad review cause wouldn't be fair to the shop and the other workers, the food was really good and the young lady was super nice, i don't think all the people that work there are like the one that served me, but i can suggest to the owner to pay attention cause she was a bit rude also with the old lady that came after me
We really enjoyed this place, you can really see how genuine and traditional it is, food was really good and we found Sabina and Giulia that served us and they have been really nice with us! If you're in Venice i really recommend to go here!
Absolutely beautiful authentic food. And very reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to my friends and family
