We have been to Busa alla Torre many, many times and the food is always excellent and the freshest available anywhere. The chef/owner, Gabriele Masiol-a/k/a Lele il Rosso makes sure each and every dish is perfect and as good as it can possibly be. My personal favorite is the Molecci tiny fried crabs. They are the freshest and tastiest at this restaurant. My husband loves the various clam pastas served. Sometimes with... View all feedback.
What Dexter G doesn't like about Busa Alla Torre Da Lele:
Really poor service, food was mediocre with a long wait. Waiters where unfriendly, throwing around tables and ignored us on multiple occasions. The price was expensive for the quality of food and location wasn’t that pretty. View all feedback.
We have been fortunate to dine here on many visits to our beloved Venice. This great restaurant is consistently great. It's located in a lovely small campo in Murano, a short vaparetto ride from Venice. On every visit, we order spaghetti vogole (clams) in a simple oil/garlic sauce and grilled branzino, with herbs/lemon. The staff always fillets the full fish for me and they are skilled at doing so. Started with a large plate of prosciutto and melon. Great local wines, great people watching. Take your time and enjoy! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Very reasonable prices.

We came here after a tour to one of the glass factories. As a family with small children the staff were kind and hospitable and we were seated promptly. The let down was the pasta. Relatively small portion sizes and really lacked good fresh flavours. Prices a little higher than other restaurants we felt. We didn’t bother with desert as the pasta was not very tasty. Carbonara was poor. Lasagna was okish. Overall I don’t think I would come back.
The food was fine. But it just seemed that everything cost a little bit more than it should and the service took a little bit longer than it should. This was lowest-rated restaurant on our entire 2 week trip in Italy. I realize this isn't entirely fair, but the vibe was completely off. I felt like I was being taken advantage of in slow motion.
This was our first trip to Murano in 10 years. We were looking for a lunch spot and realized we had eaten here on our previous trip. A table was available! We ordered the tourist menu for 15.5 euros so was very reasonable. I had the pasta pomodoro and it was fantastic. My salad was fresh and crisp. Sadly my grilled sole was very dry and overcooked but the location, service and other 2 courses were excellent so I stand by my 5 star rating. My husband is celiac and they had excellent gluten free pasta and even gluten free crackers. It was a wonderful day in Murano with a lovely lunch in a beautiful setting.
