What Eriberto Ricci likes about Al Poggio:
came here for lunch with my partner, we have a coffee, a beer and some water. he got the mushroom and gorgonzola tagliatelle and I got the olive oil and garlic spaghetti, he absolutely loved his dish and my dish was as good as any other oil and garlic spaghetti. portions are absolutely huge! the staff is very friendly and attentive and even gave us a free lemon sorbet at the end. many thanks to the staff! We came here on our first night in Venice as it was in a good location in Cannaregio. The waiter asked if we would like some garlic bread whilst we waited, we did not expect a massive starter costing us €18 to come out. However, it was enjoyable.
