We tried the fried mozzarella with ham and fried mozzarella with white fish mousse (how it was described to me). Both were very good. We stopped on a food tour mid-day and it was not very busy. However our guide explained to us that after about 6pm it is a very fun and social area where locals stop, grab a bite to eat and a drink and enjoy it outside, then moving onto the next nearby place to do the same. Great drinks but the food is mediocre at best. Have a spritz there and head somewhere else to eat.
Good basic cicchetti. Nothing special, but it's all fresh, and the guys are fairly friendly. Seems like more of a locals spot, so I can see them being short with tourists in the high season, but they were willing to chat a bit and help explain the food with their pidgin English and my pidgin Italian. Good prices, too. (FYI, the food in Venice is as good but cheaper if you get away from the tourist areas.
Just right for a cocktail before dinner. Cicchetti are fine, but not exceptional. Drinks were well made and properly balanced.
