that was an incredible experience. one of our best meals in venice, and a true place (we saw gondelfahrer with lunch also.) the meat lasagna was creamy and decadent, and the spicy marinara prawns spaghetti was light and tasty. Come here. it's worth a wait. View all feedback.
What Augusto D'angelo doesn't like about Ai Cugnai:
small portions, expensive prices. my lasagne was so tiny, I was really mad and unfortunately this was not even very good. the carbonara of my friend was very tasty and the cancer gnocchis of my mother were good. the restaurant seems to be very popular, so you have to bring some time and geduld when you want to eat here. I wouldn't go back because my lasagne has so disappointed me and the staff wasn't really friendly.... View all feedback.
I had lunch twice, marinated mussels and scalloped prawns and cherry tomatoes, prosecco, tiramisu. really great sea dishes, very good and kind in service, disappointing the tiramisu too sweet for my goi and with cream mounted by bomboletta.
I'm just saying he's a gondolier at noon.
We decide to stop here after a visit to the area and we were happy for the reasonable price of the courses. service pretty fast, considering it was almost full.
Excellent trattoria frequented by gondoliers. I ate spaghetti with clams and grill with vegetables. I enjoyed everything. great friendliness. the service is attentive even if very basic (as companatic there were only grissini in the packages). average prices.
That's the best thing I've eaten in venice. dinner was amazing! we heard the waiter and got a recommendation from him and so glad we did it! I'd come back if I'd go back to venice. everything we had was amazing. they were also very friendly and the service was great.
