Restaurant la Boucherie - Venelles

The floor was sticky...makes you wonder how they clean their kitchen! Staff was clueless, and quite frankly rude and lazy. It's a chain, so the food is up to the chain's standards. Waited 15 minutes to give order, 45 minutes for main course...only after I told the staff that there was something wrong! I used to come here when my kids were younger, and the staff was attentive. Obviouly, a change in management and it's all gone to hell! I am never going back. If you are looking for typically bad service, go to La Restaurant la Boucherie!

40 mins long wait before being served, eventually, steak arrives cold. Send it back to the kitchen, the same steak arrives, warmed up! Otherwise, the serving staff was very kind. It looks as if there was chaos in the kitchen, other clients complaining too. Alessandro

I think it achieves what it sets out to do largely a meat (burger driven menu (quality though inside an American type diner environment (in décor, music, service so if that is not what you want I wouldn't go it is not a typical French dining experience. However we had a very pleasant meal there (on a Monday and Tuesday night in Venelles there is not a lot of choice in town! and the quality of the food and service was very good no complaints at all and we thought is was good value for money.

Good lunch affordable , not crowded fast service , the meat was perfect as we ordered. Kids menu was easy to pleased.
