This is my second day in Vence. There are hundreds of competitors for my few shekels but this spot on the Place du Grand Jardin is a gem. Parking close by, excellent coffee and one just one chocolate per visit! What BOXtheFOX doesn't like about Confiserie Leonidas:
We stopped here for a fizzy water with syrup. Lovely setting and a nice place to watch the world go by. A bottle of Perrier water was expensive at €3.98 plus 50c for a dash of syrup. We were given a marshmallow on the rim of the glass. Not sure what this was about, didn't need it. Not a hope in getting a piece of chocolate though. View all feedback.

The owner is rude , cantankerous , moody , He should not be in this line of business with the attitude he has ! He’s also a beggar as last week when drinking we asked for some crisps Or Nuts to accompany our drinks , which are absolutely free in France ! Normally you then tip for such at the end .. this misery slipped a bill under the rest for €4 ! It’s not the money but shows how desperate he must be ! Many other places to venture in Vence so avoid .

We loved to go down to drink a delicious hot chocolate and eat a good waffle. a hot Italian chocolate fell and a perfect welcome. do not hesitate everything is perfect the bottom
