We stayed in Venasque for 2 weeks and very frequently had dinners and drinks at Chez Max. If you want good food and a very nice atmosphere this is the place to be ! Max and his family run this place with a lot of care and with 3 generations still on site. There are only a few tables outside next to the village fountain where you can relax and watch the local life (and the tourists) go by. Max and family are very friendly and we look forward to meet them again maybe next year !! With best regards from the 4 Belgians and the black Labrador.

Lovely little place, lovely service and very good, simple food. Value for money and super tasty ate here twice. Salads are very good, generous and with truffled olive oil in the dressings tasty. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20
