Bistro Bij De Buren - Velm

We stopped here on our way to the car. Nice food, a salmon burger and homemade American with fries. Although we hadn't reserved, we were smoothly served and fast. Before and behind the restaurant, there's parking, there's another vending machine at the front.

What a nice surprise! A modern and neat local. Friendly staff and good atmosphere, but the most important of all is the hot dishes they serve. Eating hottest steak in the last five years and had a delicious carpaccio with asparagus. A real touch and we're definitely going back to taste something else.

Bij de buren was a good surprise! We couldn't find a spot to stay over the day to have a quick lunch and were intruiged by the name and location. We were greeted by nice staff and had a really good meal. Every dish we had (all different) were all to be recommended. Worth the visit.
