A quirky place to stay, very French and was a little tired but that only added to the charm. The owner was lovely and she did everything, booked us in and cooked the meals. The hotel is 18th century and had oodles of character, nice gardens but we didn't explore as it was raining hard. A very pleasant stay and really good value for money, it was really very French. What delphine devillier doesn't like about Manoir de la Blonnerie:
Mitigate, wanting to do everything alone can unfortunately not be perfect. A beautiful house in its juice that requires a lot of work. Good evening meal without more, and light breakfast. View all feedback.
On the way to Paris, returning from the southwest, we had booked directly without passing through one of the usual platforms at the Manoir de la Blonnerie on Saturday, October 7, for dinner and lodging at the Manoir. The first observation is reserved: no one, with the exception of a friendly old dog, appears when we arrive with our suitcases. The hostess leads us to our room on the second floor, stating that she cannot help us carry one of our luggage because of back problems and while we do not ask for any help. As for the use of the swimming pool, it is no longer in the condition of running at this time of year, even if it is well on the website. We might just feel like we're in a little bit. The second observation concerns meals. The dinner, reserved in advance, included a small glass of apple juice and two small toasts it was probably the entrance. Then a delicious dish with vegetables from the farm and a homemade dessert all for 25 € . The table is still a little hungry but the night rest is only better. Breakfast is presented as a buffet with fruit, small meat, coffee to you to understand how the machine works! and above all two unseen house jams and we were the first couple to breakfast. Despite our efforts to try to establish a semblance of relations, the 'guest-fermière' has nothing to do with knowing who we are and what we have come to do...Sunday morning, at the beginning, we end up having a short exchange of views but it is 10:15 and the room should have been released at 10:00!!
We loved our night in the Pigeonnier. Disconnection, poetry, sweetness assured in the field of Blonnerie
