Perfect fresh food. Very hospitable. We were there for a dinner and that afternoon I was burned by a sea weed on my mouth while spearfishing. The lady from the restaurant called day after to check if I was OK. The dinner we had, as few times before, was excellent. Fresh fish and nice house wine. Gorgeous place! Excellent food, extremely friendly and flexible restaurant owners. Very good service, Nicely and lovely decorated shadow small place a bit hidden behind wine leaves. Also have a look inside the small building and its fireplace! Initially we headed in the afternoon by motorboat for another restaurant nearby on the next island, just to find out it was closed. Therefore, we searched for an alternative and spontaneously called the Trattoria Male Rave restaurant asking them if we can visit it in about 30 minutes for a lunch for 7 people. The restaurant owner spontaneously suggested a menu of fresh fish and calamari from the catch of the day. When we arrived about 40 minutes later the fire was already burning in the open fire place and everything was prepared to start grilling the fresh fish and baking the potatoes. Another little thing you would not expect on a little and somehow remote island in Dalmatia was the classical music collection. So, we all enjoyed our excellent lunch sitting in the shadow under wine leaves listing to the Viennese New Year’s concert with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra playing in the background and looking over the little harbor of Mala Rava and the blue green sea. One last hint: don’t mix this restaurant with the other Trattoria Dellicia very close more to the center of the little harbor and easier to spot. This is also nice, but by far cannot compete with this very nice experience and ambience of Trattoria Mala Rava about 50-100 meters away.
