What User doesn't like about Politzky:
It was billed as authentic Austrian food and to some extent, that is what it was. But, it seemed pretty average to me. We were seated next to some very loud bikers so maybe that colored my opinion but it was not an evening to remember. View all feedback.
Last January we visited Velden and we decided to have a coffee with cake at Cafe Politzky, and it was a good choice. When you visit Velden, do not forget to stop and enjoy a homemade cake with coffee, tea or even hot chocolate. We ordered the famous cardinal cut and it was amazingly delicious for a very moderate price. After 3 days in Zurich, every other place seems to be cheap as prices in Switzerland are really crazy. But also in a popular place in Velden, right opposite the casino you get value for your money, and this is great. We'll be back soon.
Pre prepared food and mistakes in check I ordered grilled fish with vegetables the dish came in 3 minutes, fish over grilled as if warmed up. There was 1/4 instead of 1/8 L wine in check. Nice garden veranda and quick but inattentive servive
Immer wieder ein Genuss. Speziell die österreichischen Schmankerl haben es mir angetan. Die besten Marillenknödel der Welt!
Es ist ein absolutes Highlight, einen Urlaubstag in Politzkys Gastgarten zu beginnen:Erstklassige Bedienung – kompetent, zuvorkommend und herzlich + aller höchste Qualität der angebotenen Mehlspeisen und Gerichte. Meine persönliche Empfehlung: die sensationellen Topfentascherl!!!
Ein Klassiker in Velden. Ich komme hier gerne her um eine Nachspeise zu kaufen. Mein Favorit: Marillenfleck. Sehr zu empfehlen.
