Nachdem wir bereits im vergangenen Jahr 2016 schon total begeistert vom Haus Stemberg waren, verbrachten wir jetzt erneut einen in jeder Hinsicht perfekten Sonn... read more Nachdem wir bereits im vergangenen Jahr 2016 schon total begeistert vom Haus Stemberg waren, verbrachten wir jetzt erneut einen in jeder Hinsicht perfekten Sonntagmittag auf der zauberhaften Gartenterrasse dieses Restaurants (welches im Übrigen auch "drinnen" sehr schön ist). Beste Produkte, perfekt zubereitet und auf den Tellern präsentiert, begleitet von bezahlbaren und gut ausgesuchten Weinen und von einem wirklich aufmerksamen und herzlichen Service serviert - hier passt einfach alles!!! Die Küche schafft den perfekten Spagat zwischen "bodenständig" und "überraschend und ausgefallen" - hier sind wahrhafte "Kochkünstler" am Werk!

Wir befanden uns auf "Gourmetreise" und Haus Stemberg bildete den Abschluss. Und es war ein schöner Ausklang unserer Tour.Die ganze Familie und das Team wussten uns zu begeistern. Tolle Weine, ein sehr feines Degustationsmenü und die Nachricht, dass die sechste Generation im Haus Stemberg gesichert scheint . Was will man mehr.Besonders gut hat mir das Leipziger Allerlei und die Rotbarbe gemundet. Stern und Punkte sind sicher. Sascha Stemberg und das Team gehören definitiv in das obere Drittel der Einsterneliga! Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch im Haus Stemberg. Das Ambiente auch einem Landgasthof entsprechend und daher zu keinem Zeitpunkt abgehoben imponierend. Freundliches Personal. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner himself with the words, How can I help you? —but in a tone and with an emphasis that came across as clearly dismissive, as if to say, What are you even doing there? Only after we mentioned that we had a reservation were we shown to our table without a word. The service itself was good; there 's nothing to complain about there. However, the restaurant was very noisy because a large party was taking place in an adjoining room, and the sliding doors weren 't closed. This unfortunately prevented a relaxed atmosphere. The food was a mixed bag: the appetizer and dessert were very tasty and of excellent quality. The main course, however, was disappointing. The schnitzel seemed to consist almost entirely of breading and was absolutely not recommended—we had expected much more for the price. We were also very displeased that the owner visited almost every table several times during our visit, engaging in conversation and asking about our tastes. Our table was completely ignored – no one asked if we were there, no greeting, not even a glance. This left us with a very unpleasant feeling. Overall, we felt the restaurant wasn 't good value for money. Because of the unfriendly welcome, the noise level, and the disappointing main course, we wouldn 't visit this restaurant again for that price.

Everything was perfect from start to finish, and there was even some birthday decoration on the table. But what truly surpassed everything was the entire team. The owner and chef personally greeted us – thank you for your time! The whole team is invaluable and makes a real difference. The service staff, from the youngest to the most experienced, are exceptionally well-trained, attentive, and incredibly efficient. You couldn't ask for better employees – a huge compliment!
