this place brings it a past away from Denmark and into a street food experience in Morokko. there is a concept to bring your own wein and a very cozy and warm feeling around the place, and the concept works. there is not much space between the tables and it has a unique style. they feel welcome here and eating is good and traditional Moroccan. I can only recommend this place. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Casablanca:
We are a couple who have been regulars at Casablanca for more than a year and have generally had a great experience. That is, until we needed to change a table reservation last week. The owner, Abdel, got quite aggressive and basically told us not to come at all. We did hear some stories about his temper, but did not believe them until now. Unacceptable behavior, regardless of the customers being regulars or new. We... View all feedback.
I got the Vegeterian Tajin which is a traditional Moroccan dish with seasonal vegetables like peppers, eggplants, zucchini, carrots, potatoes etc. It is served with traditional homemade warm bread. It is not very filling though, this is why we bought some more bread. It costs 140dkk. Almost all the dishes in the menu, could be made in a vegan/ vegeterian version. They don’t sell alcohol, but you can bring your own wine which will save you some money!
We loved everything about our dining experience at Casablanca. The decor of the restuarant transports you to Morocco and the jazz playing in the background makes you feel like you have gone back in time. The food was possibly one of the best meals me and my partner have eaten! the tagines were absolutely delicious. Afterwards we got the mint tea and the chef/owner came out and taught us the best way to pour it which was lovely. When he left at the end of the night he said goodbye to everyone in the restuarant individually. I would highly reccomend Casablanca!
I ended up in this restaurant because most people have written very positive about it. I can describe my experience here as very average and to be honest could not understand why most people think it is so special. Service was okay and food was slightly better than service.
The second visit to this restaurant was just as good as the first. Authentic food, mint tea and good atmosphere. Good value for money. The vegans in the group were also impressed.
Good food. They let you bring your own wine. Good service, cozy interior and music. Nothing else to say. Amazing!
