Villaggio Ristorante - Vaughan

Had dinner here with girlfriend after visiting the art gallery We chose to sit on the lovely patio as this summer has been so rainy .. Our waiter was super friendly and efficient..outstanding service..We shared the best Calamari I've ever had... It was lightly breaded and very tender.. quite a large portion ,so I was glad we had shared it..The duck confit entree was good,however it might not have been enough for the average appetite... We had planned to enjoy a dessert ,but we were just too stuffed to order a dessert.. much to our surprise our sweet waiter brought us a piece of their super delicious cheesecake to help us celebrate my birthday... so delicious we ate it despite being so full... I would certainly return and highly recommend..

No complaints - I just think overpriced for a lunch . judging by how quiet it was unless I think more of an evening spot . Had the whole fish which was tasty .. meat and cheese board to start was good choice to share . Good wine selection.

Newly renovated and fantastic. I have been going to villagio for years and I have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and the food was great.

The reviews were great so I was really looking forward to this restaurant. It looked beautiful from the outside and the inside. It went downhill from there. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. My Caprese salad was 3 way too tiny pieces of cheese decorated on beets. My medium rare steak came too well done and nobody loved their meal. It was outrageously expensive for what was served. They comped my steak and gave us free alcohol with our dessert, but that didn't make up for our disappointment. I have never given such a bad review, but I've never been so let down by a restaurant.

Truly wonderful Italian food. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is the reason to come by. Will not be disappointed if you come out for dinner or lunch.
