La Veranda Osteria - Vaughan

We moved to Woodbridge 4 years ago and during this time this place exchanged hands 2-3 times. We are very happy to see that the new owners invested in it. The decor is modern now and the patio was also redone. We love coming here, it is close to us, the staff is friendly, the food is always good, the menu is quite varied, the owner seems to always be there and has time to chat with customers. They seem to have a lot of private events, therefore I would recommend you call before you go.At time the service is slow, but we know the food is worth the wait, and time always flies by quickly in good company and sipping through a nice glass of wine. We don't mind waiting and recommend La Veranda for a relaxed evening out.

La Veranda is a fairly new Restaurant in the heart of Old Woodbridge that you MUST try! I came upon this little gem last year when planning my hubby's 40th birthday...best night ever! It had charming rustic atmosphere, great music (and dj which got us all dancing by the end),! genuinely lovely owners, attentive waitresses, and most importantly, AMAZING FOOD! (Seriously, top notch flavours and quality each time we've been! And the offerings are quite unique with a mixture of modern and classic Italian and even some Lebonese inspirations)! Prices are very reasonable -especially considering the quality and freshness. We've been several times since and just last night enjoyed another lovely dinner at La Veranda Resto. My only criticism (being that I am a baker) is that I wasn't overly impressed with the dessert options. But overall, an awesome little place that I would highly recommend for special events, family outings, or date nights!

The fried polenta with tomato sauce was great, and so was the misto salad. Sit at the bar and enjoy!

At arrival introduced to owner, felt very welcomed. Everything from the service to the food was incredibly good. Atmosphere was great. Will return!

We had the opportunity which is actually very rare to sample many of the items on the menu. We rented the restaurant for the evening so it seemed as we were the only two tables in the upstairs part occupied. We had at least 6 types of appetizers and I tasted them all. They were all very good. Then we were treated to two types of pizza and 3 types of pasta dishes. Again they were all very good. If I had to rate things the pizza was not as good as the pasta. Pizza was just OK. The location is in a little market/small village type place. Parking was limited but I believe there was more parking near by. Recommended especially the pasta.Service was very good. Recommended.
