Located in the entrance hall of the McMichael Collection, Aura pleases simply by its setting. The lunches we had were very good; I strongly recommend the cheese plate, which, in honour of the "On Paper" exhibition, features artisanal cheeses from Quebec. The soup was also very good. Our server was eager to be helpful but did not seem to be very well trained. The coffee is good. View all feedback.

We celebrated a 70th birthday party at this restaurant with a group of 10 people. Many in our party ordered the shrimp bowl, but it arrived cold. We asked for it to be reheated and it was. I ordered the chicken dish, but it was dry and the sauce lacked flavor. The waitress was good and attentive, but overall the dining experience was disappointing. However, I must mention that the potato pancake appetizer was delicious, although slightly overcooked. - Mary-Lou
We started sharing with the kettle chips trio; the chips were cold and oil-logized. the cilantro aioli and dijon mayo dives were good, but the maple bbq dip was ice cold. my man ordered the chicken enchiladas; they were extremely dry and tasteless and. covered with a marinara pasta sauce, not a tomato sauce suitable for enchiladas. I ordered the superfood salad; I paid $18 for a small bag of kale with four granatapfel beads, the 3 smallest discs of avocado, a tbsp quinoa, a tbsp of lenses, and a non-existent debris of the smallest sweet potato cubes I have ever seen. the food certainly does not measure up to the breathtaking work of art.
After visiting the galleries at McMichael, we decided to eat at this restaurant. The beef stew was delicious and perfect for a cold winter day. My companion really enjoyed the pancakes as well. A must-try!
Came to enjoy a nice afternoon in the art gallery and found a jewel of a restaurant. the food was great and the service was even better. if they ever have the opportunity to try the food, I would recommend it very much.
Avoid dining at this restaurant at all costs! Our experience at Aura by Cashew and Clive was extremely disappointing. After visiting the McMichael Museum, my friends and I put our name on the waitlist for a table. Despite there being empty tables, the service was slow and disorganized. We were eventually seated and informed that most of the menu items were unavailable due to oven issues. We settled on the lobster sandwich, only to discover that it was not actual lobster but a tasteless imitation. When we questioned our waitress, she insisted that it was indeed lobster. Overall, the service was lacking and the food was subpar. It is a shame that such a great museum is associated with such a poor dining experience.
