I visited this restaurant with my family for lunch on a weekday. It wasn't very crowded, but the food and service were both excellent. I have tried other restaurants in Baton Rouge, but I believe this one is the best. View all feedback.
What Buddy Bins doesn't like about Baton Rouge:
In the last year we ordered a lot of baton rouge take out for birthdays. The food is extremly good no problem there. However the take out experience is just horrible. Almost every time something was wrong with our orders, missing items, wrong items you...name it. Now, that wouldn't be a problem at a normal restaurant at 50$/order, but at 200$ the order I don't think that should happen. The service to get those mistak... View all feedback.
Since we've been to a restaurant in baton rouge, it's been a long time ago. overall we really enjoyed eating was great the service was good can not wait to go back
There was no effort put into my meal at this restaurant. I remember when they first opened, the food was deliciously roasted with ingredients like parsley, carrots, and paprika. Now, it seems like everything is steamed and lacking in flavor, almost as if someone carelessly dirtied the dish for a few seconds.
They enjoy the best sandwich with a side of caesar salat, while my man enjoyed his burger and side of the koleslaw. the frozen margaritas are excellent! we sat comfortably on the terrace that was quiet and played classic rock. service was great!
Baton rouge was always one of my favorite places for an evening meal. at least 25 years. but every recent visit was more and more of a disappointment. the value for money has a big hit. yes, with COVID restaurants. injured. but. last summer, I tried the laughter in quebec city. it's delicious. it was served on a sloping board and had a generous help from arugula salat. it is now served in a bowl, with, I am sure, is a small part of the salmon and a few leaves of the salats. still very tasty, but. thé filet mignon is excellent. $43 for 8oz. it comes with two accompanying articles. but. Previously it was served with pfefferkornsauce. Now this costs $2 in a tiny dish about half the size before it was included. this is not the way to encourage customers. the ribs have been popular for 25 years. but the new small piece sizes at $32 are a shock. small ribs with not much meat. the ambiente is great and the service is always excellent. the portions cannot become smaller. Maybe it's time to go there, just for a burger.

The service to get those mistakes fixed was also sub par, even got called a liar on the phone.
