The cooked food of the wonderful cook Morfoulas Efi is something that cannot be described in words (try... braised with freshly fried potatoes, juvetsi, macaroni with minced meat, imam eggplants with cheese, fried courgettes... all a feast... . And the roaster Yiannis Zonis is the charcoal steak, chicken... that send you to tasty heaven and his stories accompanied by songs are a treat (a treat for the ears ... listen to him!! ! If you find yourself in VATERA... Don 't leave if you don 't visit the tavern of JONIS KOZANITI You will... miss out! Along with the bill (which will surprise you for the LOW cost you will also taste the wonderful semolina halva from the golden hands of sweet Morfoula. The store is HONEST and I highly recommend it!!!

Great view towards t... read more Amazing food, definitely my favourite place to eat on the island. Waitress is always very attentive, and a lot quicker than other tavernas. Great view towards the sea, and we stayed on the beach for the rest of the day making use of the free sunbeds. Edit: we came back for a third time this holiday and a waiter served us instead of the kind waitress. He was strongly opinionated and quite rude, it was also a bit odd as they didn't have the okra dish or dry red wine that we had twice days before. (Won't be adjusting my star rating as I don't believe this is the taverna's fault) Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian options, but depends what they have that day so best to ask. You must try the okra dish though it is the best! Parking: Usually a few spots to park on the side of the road facing the sea.
