The food and the service here are good. I had the lasagna, bowls and sauce, spaghetti, pizza and calzone. Everybody's great. I also had the cheesecake and chocolate lava cake, both are great. The Pasta fagioli is spectacular when available. View all feedback.
What James Justice doesn't like about Valenti's Italian Restaurant:
Ordered two lasagnas and mine had a nice long Hair in it! Can you say YUK??? Yeah, no thanks! No more Vass Valenti's! This restaurant used to be Awesome, but not anymore. Not to mention that you will only get 1/2 of a martini when you order one! What a scam! Wonderful, local restaurant! valenti’s is extremely clean with a large pickup counter for pizza, which is private from the tables / booths. we can't wait to get back to dinner! pizza was excellent quality and garlic rolls were pointed notches.
I knew that eating was great because I had the pleasure of not meeting anyone behind the scene for so long, but eating hadn't eaten. eating was delicious, mixing well with one another. marissa, was also great. we will definitely come back.
I came here once in april 2020, but that was only back then, so I was only here recently to get the full experience for the first time and I must say it was all I was hoping for! the eating was delicious, there were many open seats, susan (was that her name had an excellent work performance as my server, and she never hesitated to ask me if I wanted to refill for my drink, and I could even save space for dessert! I have to come back here and try the lunch menu some time and/or go to the new Sanford location!
New Jersey transplant here: great quality and authentic tasting Italian. My husband and I ordered the baked dough which didn’t disappoint. Then we got free buttery garlic knots/bread for the table. Delicious! I ordered the eggplant parm which was very good and met all my expectations. My husband ordered the Tour of Italy: meatballs, lasagna, and chicken parm. The meatballs were great, I would order again. But the lasagna was dry, needed more flavor, cheese, and sauce. It tasted worse than a frozen lasagna (sorry My husband said his chicken parm was the reason he’d come again. So overall, not a bad Italian experience for the middle of nowhere North Carolina.
Food was great, just disappointed that we received a small dish instead of the large as advertised. Meal was $20 and it was the same size as the kids portion. Found out once we were all the way home. Regardless, their garlic knots are yum next time we will eat their or double check our meals before we leave.
