Poivre Rouge - Varennes-Vauzelles

Near the ibis budget we enjoyed our meal. we noticed that most people have chosen the menu of the day at 15 euro, that was 3 courses with a escape from the buffet. we chose from the menu and we were both too...ful for dessert! my cheese tartin star was very good and for all my companions had the ripening and I had the braided gay in honey, that was really delicious. we had a 10% discount, as we were guests in the ibis and the bill 43 euro for 2 courses with drinks and coffee.

From southern Spain on the way to Great Britain over the French alps, we have experienced a rather uneven standard in these chain restaurants. we booked the ibis on the street and walked by to dinner. the restaurant is clean,...well furnished, well illuminated, contemporary, warm and welcoming. we were greeted by a worker as soon as we entered and the service was very good. it must be said that eating was from a very high standard - both in presentation and in content. both meals were delicious and we were impressed by everything. While this restaurant could not be described as fine eating, it is very good what it does and I would very much like to eat here again. the atmosphere was also good, while not full of a Wednesday night, three days after the new year, it was safe and all evening people were still arriving when we left at 9 o'clock. in short, excellent service, excellent eating, a good atmosphere, a good wine list. I rarely give five out of five, but poivre rouge varennes vauzelles can not be failed.

If you are looking for a restaurant, this was a bit disappointing. as a fast food condition it was quite impressive, offering a quite varied menu.

Great meal, pleasant staff, space games for children we will be back with pleasure ! I find the map before much better.
