bar il molo probably has one of the best prospects in VARENNA and the comer see. it is beautifully located and the yellow themed decor makes it super image worth. of what we were told is the terrace that is directly in front of the lake is not available if they have no reservation, but they still get a nice view from the other side. the drinks were very good and not too expensive, we ordered two aperol splash. eating... What User doesn't like about Il Molo:
Eating was not great, we ordered appetizers and nets, and they brought them together what we did not demand. the carbonara was cold. the steak was well done when we asked for medium. they also did not mention that the area in which we were was closed soon and brought us to pay the bill. would not come back and would not recommend it. The intention is certainly the attraction of this restaurant, so it seems that they do not really try to eat on. the bruschetta for one was a sad piece mozzarella.
We tried this place because it was amazing, but seriously the worst service we had! waiters were so rude and ignored as.

Beautiful location, elegant and with a beautiful view. menu with great variety of ingredients of choice and quality. fast service and friendly staff, really a nice surprise!
We stopped a Saturday at noon attracted by the beautiful panorama. I must say that we were satisfied, we took a piadina valtellina, a rustic sandwich and a risotto with Parmesan cheese. all very good especially risotto. has a very wide menu, they also make pizzas. in the winter outdoors I provide blankets to cover from the cold. not very cheap prices but it is worth the view.
