Today we were guests of the group Die Kulinarier and enjoyed a fantastic six-course meal. Everyone was absolutely thrilled with the creativity and quality of the food. Thank you so much for the wonderful culinary experience.
Best restaurant ever. Everything here is perfect. We are thrilled and have been regulars for a long time. A big thank you to the entire team.
Edo Dangast: A Valentine’s Day menu in a class of its own On February 14th we experienced a culinary highlight at Edo in Dangast that set standards. As soon as we entered the restaurant we felt the special atmosphere: stylish, inviting and with a warm hospitality that characterized the entire evening. The Valentine's Day menu was a harmonious composition of the finest ingredients, masterfully prepared and perfectly presented. The start with the beetroot carpaccio was convincing with creamy sheep's cheese, crunchy pistachios and fine herbs a fresh, elegant starter that left you wanting more. The following wild mushroom soup with smoked salmon and dill developed a deep aroma and demonstrated the house's art of creating a taste experience from simple ingredients. For the main course we chose the Five Spice duck leg, which was served with a wonderful combination of chilli, sesame and leek. The tender, aromatic duck was cooked to perfection and was perfectly complemented with Asian inspired flavors. The sweet finale was the edo cheesecake, a dessert that was not only a little work of art in terms of taste but also visually creamy, airy and perfectly balanced with a delicate acidity. But it wasn't just the kitchen that impressed us that evening. The service was attentive, warm and professional at the same time a host who looked after his guests with real passion. The Edo in Dangast is more than just a restaurant it is an oasis for foodies who value excellent cuisine and exceptional service. An evening that we will remember for a long time. We'll definitely be back!
Once again, absolutely wonderful. A familiar place. We come here every year and are thrilled.
We ate at Edo about 14 days ago. We chose the chef menu, which cost €54 per person. The chef menu didn't come with any filling side dishes. The portions were very clear and you wouldn't have been full as a normal eater. So we ordered bread three times (four small, halved slices) with our menu. This is just information for now. The menu was cooked to perfection. The food was certainly of top quality, but everything tasted very normal and boring. There was a lack of courage to give the courts a face. That was very unfortunate and boring. We were also served starter and dessert on one plate. We had to divide it up ourselves (starter) and we had to eat the dessert from one plate. So we not only messed up the table, but also the look of the dishes. I criticized it and was told to pass it on. Unfortunately, no one has contacted me yet. I'm just imagining that I have to eat out of the same bowl not with my partner, but with a stranger that I've invited that's not possible at all. I was charged one euro each for the 3x bread and that was a disgrace. I'm writing the review now because no one from the restaurant has contacted me. Attached you will find the pictures and you can be sure that I will never eat there again.
