Visited this out of the way restaurant a few times and have never been disappointed by the food or the service. Last visit it was pretty busy, which is always a good sign, and with only two waiters we were sure it would be a long wait but lo and behold they were both running to keep ahead, real commitment. The salads are always a joy together with biryanis and tandoor cooked foods. Give it a go you won't be disappoin... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ton-Cia Restaurant:
The waiter greets you as if u are already unwelcome.... He is more interested in catering to the foreigners who throng that place... Food is just OK... But the waiter makes up for the foods goodness by being as sore as hell View all feedback.
This is next to our resort but food and service is excellent. Very reasonable price and my wife loves it. We have been here for dinner 3rd time today! Probably will come again and again till We leave Varca Beach in a week.
Used this restaurant twice during our stay and would definitely go back good food, good price and very good service.
This restaurant is not a beach shack but a regular restaurant, tucked away in a by-lane, about half a kilometre from Varca Beach. It is in a very relaxed setting in the large open veranda of owner Periera’s cottage and surrounded by a nice garden with some coconut trees. There is a small chapel in the compound. The red tablecloths were matching the red painted walls. There were about ten tables and they had an elaborate food and beverages menu. Cashew Feni was also available in addition to the regular drinks. We had a plate of Roasted Papad as starters, and Batter Fried Fish with Chips. We also enjoyed their typical Goan Fish Curry with Rice. They also serve Chinese and Continental food for the many British and Russian guests who stay in the nearby guest houses down the lane. We quite enjoyed the food and homely service at this restaurant. Prices were reasonable.
This restaurant in Varca, South Goa is one of the top dining spots in the area, offering a variety of cuisines but specializing in Goan food. Be sure to try their Goan fish curry with rice, it's a must-try!
I must disagree with previous reviews because we are stay nearly opposite and it’s convenient for us to go, but believe me I would not go just for convenience. The waiter welcomes us and looks after us properly. Our favourite dinner there is Chicken Tikka Masala it’s full of flavour and plenty of good quality chicken.
