Banaras Sweet House and Bhojanalaya

This is one of the oldest sweet store in Varanasi. It's know for it's Lassi. It definitely offers one of the best lassi's in the world. The gentleman who opened this stored had a reputation and his son's have continued this legacy. This small set up is very homely. Trying a Dosa here. I not worried about how it's going to be.. not one bit. Must visit places in Varanasi.

The restaurant is purely veg restaurant. It's a two stored restaurant. At downstairs they have a non-ac restaurant, where you will get the same food at little low cost and in upstairs they have ac family restaurant. The restaurant is a low budget restaurant but a clean one. The behaviors of stuffs are polite and gentle. The Dahi vada is their specialty. They maintain it and it is different than a regular dahi vada. They serves rasgullas with dahi and chat masala. I first felt little weird when I heard that but the moment I tasted it, I loved it.
