I was too exhausted to search for another restaurant, but I regret not doing so. I ordered the halloumi salad for 20€ and it was the worst one I've ever had. The salad had cheap and sparse lettuce, a few other unidentifiable leaves, and a poorly matched yellow sauce. The halloumi was of low quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cold and the music was loud. The only reasons I didn't give this place just one star were the friendly and quick service, and the decent white wine.
The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were incredibly tasty. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.
This restaurant is a convenient option for those staying at the hotel. The staff is excellent and provides great service. While the food was better than other Amarillos we have tried before, the outdated 90s cruise ship decor needs an upgrade, similar to the adjoining hotel. The highlight of the meal was definitely the passion and coconut panna cotta dessert.
First for all: Thank you for Heidi and Abad for great service. This one star is because of them. Food was terrible at this restaurant. Please avoid chicken and all sauces. Sauces were so thin that you can eat those only with a straw. Vegetables were raw. Chicken was pale, but dry. We both had poor dinner. I had to change my portion to another. Price was high anyway (100€ . I don’t know if food was directed by S-group, but this was worst dinner at long time for us. Forget Tex-Mex in here. There is much better places near.
We had dinner here while staying at Sokos Hotel Vantaa. This restaurant belongs to the hotel. The overall appearance of this restaurant is outdated and dull as the whole hotel except our refurbished room. The service was friendly. We ordered Texas grill steak and Salmon Scampi. Both were quite average in taste.
