We stopped in for pie and coffee and loved the atmosphere and decor of this museum-like cafe. The service was attentive and quick, the pies were delicious and it was hard to choose for the extensive list of choices! Your order is served on ceramic dishes with metal cutlery - no plastic waste is produced by your table meal. The historical society volunteers have done an excellent job of setting up this historical Cana... View all feedback.

Skip this place..servers are not bright...we asked for water twice andthey tried to overcharge. The server did not know specials...had to wait 20 minutes for service Horrible service and food View all feedback.
Located on the outskirts of Vanderhoof, the Ok Cafe is a fantastic restaurant to visit. The bread used for their grilled cheese sandwich is excellent, but the real standout is their chicken soup, which can be ordered with or without noodles. In addition to their delicious food options, they also serve breakfast and ice. Keep in mind that this is a seasonal location that typically opens in June.
We were thrilled that we did. split a turkey sandwich and a smooth peach milkshake. uouwee
The salted cracker has taken over the ok caffe and they have four different homemade soups daily and various sandwiches. it cost for two medium-sized bowls of suppe and then a sandwich to share it was we had seen. the broccoli suppe and a truthahn speck grilled cheese sandwich with avocado on multigrain brot. they were both very good. they give you about six homemade crackers to go with your suppe. we sat inside, but found the air conditioning to be very cold, so we told them we would like to sit on the outside picnic table in the sun, but I guess they only get table service when they sit inside. after waiting for minutes I realized that I should probably go in and check, and there was our food sitting in a bag to get out. I also found out that when I decided to eat outside in a takeout container, the suppe costs a little more so that I next have my suppe in the dishes that they use inside. the personal had a very hard time to find out how to use the tablet so that we could pay for our meal. I think every week they have another list of four suppening options, but the sandwiches remain the same. I found a little expensive, but probably back because the food was delicious.
I stopped by the museum during my travels and stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant serving homemade food. Even if you're just looking for a quick bite, the restaurant is definitely worth a visit as you explore the museum grounds.
My friends and I visited this restaurant to sample their ice cream and pie. I decided to try the Oreo smash pie, which was delicious but very heavy on whipped topping. One of my friends ordered a vanilla ice cream sundae with caramel drizzle, but it was so big we couldn't finish it. Although they also serve salads and sandwiches, we were in the mood for dessert so we didn't try them. Maybe next time we'll give their other dishes a try. The restaurant was clean and peaceful, and the servers were friendly.
