The Elkhorn Grill - Vanderbilt
The Elkhorn Grill
Description
Elkhorn Grill presents a mixed bag of experiences for diners. While many patrons appreciate the cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional bar, service inconsistency appears to be a recurrent theme. Some guests have enjoyed friendly and attentive staff, particularly during busy events like bike nights, while others have encountered less-than-pleasant interactions. The food is generally deemed satisfactory, with highlights including burgers and nachos, but instances of disappointing dishes have also been noted. For those seeking a casual stop, Elkhorn Grill offers a unique blend of local charm and hearty bar food, making it a potential pitstop worth considering.

Food was fantastic! I had the corned beef skillet. H7bs had the fish fry. It's going to make the rotation for our weekly restaurant visits. Great little place
We have been coming up to the area for many years, and finally tried Elkhorn Grill this weekend. Our service was quick and friendly, and everyone’s food was great! We will definitely be returning!
The service was the some of the best I have ever experienced with taking 4 young kids that were antsy after being in the car for 5 hours. The server was absolutely fantastic did everything plus some to make the kids happy and comfortable. The food was okay, it did the job of getting it quick and getting back on the road. I would stop again solely for the service.
This is a great local bar. The food and service was both very good. My husband and I split a bowl of Chili, and a chicken quesadilla . Both very good. The exterior and parking lot are a bit rough, but this is an off the main track restaurant in Vanderbilt MI. The women’s restroom was clean. Only one waitress w 8-15 customers but service very good as well. It is not a chain food type of restaurant/bar. But comfortable w great food.
