Feedback
Steamworks in Vancouver offers a varied, not top-tier beer selection and accommodating food requests. Although the special was unavailable early in the evening, the pub fare was fairly typical. Service was friendly, adding to a fun vibe despite noise due to a full house. Some diners were disappointed with overcooked salmon but praised the service and portion sizes. The location in Gastown lends itself well to a low-key dining experience. All in all, Steamworks impresses with good food, great service, and an inviting atmosphere, making it a go-to spot for both locals and travelers.
Even though we are not beer drinkers we ate here - they make a nice mixed drink also, the food was delicious and nice size portions - wait until you see the apple pie dessert - tremendous! we were seated in a very busy area but the ambiance was great and we were happy to not have to wait - there was a free concert by the philharmonic symphony nearby. our waitress was great, helpful, never rushed us and made very good recommendations . great location
