Was Anonym at St. Augustine's a mag?
St. Augustine's was bustling on a Wednesday night. The wings by the pound were delicious, and they offered a gluten-free pizza option. The menu wasn't extensive, likely featuring more beer selections than food items. There were plenty of TVs showing sports, and the service was good. Prices were reasonable. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about St. Augustine's:
We decided to go for lunch on Sunday. Wife and sister wanted burgers so we picked St. Augustine's pub. It is close to home. Service seemed off and slow. I did not know who my waitress was. Our burgers were good. I will try it again to try another dish. View all feedback.

Great proximity to rail stop awesome selection of brews and a doable menu. Service could be more consistent however was still not bad

Popped in to St. Augustine's to have a bite and a beer and catch some playoff hockey. I was on my own so sat at the bar and ordered a beer. I am a middle-aged woman and there were a number of younger men sitting on either side of me. Over a period of two hours, the men sitting next to me were offered and served food and beverages. During that time I was offered a second beer but not one server asked if I wanted to order food!I eventually left and will not attend this pub again. It is very frustrating to be ignored based on my gender and my age. This is a common experience in many bars and restaurants which is quite amusing given my partner and I are reasonably well off and generally tip above average for good service. Too bad for the bar maids at this location who got no tip and will never get my business again!

One of my favourite places to stop in for a pint. I'm fond of a good IPA or particularly a stout, and most of the time St. Augustine's will have something to satisfy. The atmosphere is typically sports bar, but I edit that out. It's the best all-round local pub around. Good variety of ales and ciders, food is excellent and the service is outstanding. This review is my personal experience. I did not like this bar as it was far too loud and hurt my ears as everyone was watching the game and screaming. There were no quieter spots. We were unable to talk properly, and while the service was prompt, a server said something inappropriate while I was paying for myself and my date. I still gave tip but I will most definitely never be back at this establishment due to personal negative experience. Thank you for understanding.
