Nice people and good service. Standard Chinese restaurant fare for Vancouver west side; fresh, tasty and prepared quickly. I think the prices are right down the middle, neither cheap nor too expensive. View all feedback.

On Dunbar there is a small Chinese restaurant that has a wide range of cuisine available for the typical folk who like sweet and sour this and that and breaded almond chicken but they also serve amazing cantonese and szechuan dishes as well. Great service and a couple of Chinese beer and you are set to enjoy your meal.
Love it. my favourites are wonton soup, deep fried wontons, sweet and sour pork, chow mein, and so much more
Very friendly service. The woman taking our order and the delivery woman were both very warm and friendly. This was our first time ordering from this restaurant. Some of the food was excellent and some of it was okay. I think you need to learn what to order. The "Chef's Recommendations" were good. We really liked the Lychee Chicken - such a wonderful combination of flavours. Beef lettuce wrap was also good as was the hot and sour soup. The BBQ pork appetizer was not so great. BBQ duck - meh. But the beef with broccoli was fantastic as was the chicken fried rice. We'll definitely order from them again.
I grew up in Dunbar and Simon's Kitchen was always the place to go for Chinese Food. I live in Singapore now where you can find some of the best Chinese food in the world. Despite this, I still love ordering from Simon's Kitchen whenever I'm back in Vancouver.
I took my three kids here for a family dinner. The food was good quality but what impressed me the most was the service. They love kids! Our server made sure my 3 little ones were well taken care of. We ordered several dishes, which arrived very quickly. My 4 year old loved the chow mein and sweet and sour pork, The place was immaculately clean. This is a great place for a family dinner and is very affordable. Simon's kitchen also delivers. This is definitely one of the better restaurants in the Dunbar area. I will be back.

This place literally has the best chow mein ever. Everytime I order, I always get the beef chow mein and its so good. The noodles are amazing and the beef and broccoli are so yummy.
Hands down, THE best Chinese food in Vancouver!! Sixteen years in business on Dunbar should say it all ... but let me elaborate. Every dish we try is outstanding in flavour, super fresh, and never disappoints. They don 't use MSG, and we never get that 'too full, then super hungry ' feeling after eating, that we know all too well with other Chinese food places. Our favorite dishes are Ginger Beef (warm spice), Chicken Black Bean Chow Main, Prawn Chow Main (love the sauce), and BBQ Pork fried rice. The Spring Rolls are large, and not greasy, full of fresh veggies. They offer delivery, but much faster when you pick up, usually ready in 15 mins. Anytime we don 't want to cook dinner ourselves, we always look to Simon 's Kitchen to keep us happy healthy.

Still one of my favs. Even though their prices have gone up by a small amount, I still love this place. I mean seriously, it was the only chinese place I've ever been to that with the cheapest prices and they're still one of the cheapest even with the price increase. awesome customer service, great dishes and great value my favourite chinese place in the dunbar neighbourhood.
