A nice food truck experience. Delicious cauliflower with great texture came on rice with an amazing sauce. Side salad was hearty the perfect amount of house made dressing. I saved half for home and ate it later, and I'm not even vegetarian... I love eating my vegetables. View all feedback.
What Leeza N dislikes about Rolling Cashew:
I decided to order from Rolling Cashew because I was really craving their croquettes and aioli! They did not disappoint — the croquettes were incredibly crunchy with amazing flavor, and the aioli is definitely one of the best I've had. I also tried the beef bulgogi bowl, which was okay but a bit bland, and the soy mince had a strange sweet taste that I didn’t enjoy. The side salad and avocado were really good, and th... Just tried the new Cauli-Burger tonight. Sooooo yummy. The texture of the bread is amazing and the vegan bacon had so much flavour. Came with crokets. You've got to taste it!
There are very few vegan restaurants that meet all of the criteria of not looking judgmental, serving delicious meals, and offering healthy, gluten-free options without using canola oil. The hot dish with three fillings is a great choice for those who are indecisive. The Thai cashew cauliflower wings taste just like deep-fried wings coated in barbecue sauce, but are actually large, crispy morsels. The Korean bulgogi and Chinese mapo tofu dishes are also flavorful and go perfectly with rice. The miso rice was supposed to have a miso flavor, but it was not very apparent. The kale salad was a bit difficult to eat due to the large, uncut leaves, and the dressing needed to be mixed in better. Despite these minor issues, the meal was satisfying and tasty. The service was excellent as well.
I came across this vegan food truck outside of VGH and decided to skip my work lunch for a sandwich combo instead. I hope they come back to my area soon so I can try the cauliflower wings. I loved the top-notch service and friendly staff, as well as the amazing potato croquettes. You have to try them, along with your choice of one of three dipping sauces (I went for the aioli and licked my bowl clean, it was so good). The portions were generous and I felt full after enjoying my side salad, croquettes, and half sandwich. The simple menu offers a solid variety of options without overwhelming indecisive eaters. On the menu: wings, sandwich combos, or tacos. The only thing that prevented it from being a 5-star experience for me was that I wasn't a huge fan of the bread itself. As a carb lover, I found the focaccia a bit dry and it didn't leave me wanting more. In summary, this food truck is a great choice for a healthy, vegan, and reasonably priced lunch with leftovers for later. Don't miss out on the croquettes!
