Red Burrito
3.7 / 5 (2817 reviews)

Description

Located conveniently for a quick meal, Red Burrito has garnered mixed reviews from patrons. While some appreciate the generous portion sizes and customizable options, others lament the decline in quality and rising prices. The burritos have been described as flavorful and filling, though concerns linger about the authenticity of the Mexican cuisine—many likening it more to chicken shawarma in a tortilla. Service appears to be a highlight, with staff often accommodating special requests. Overall, Red Burrito is a go-to spot for a casual bite, but diners should temper their expectations regarding genuine Mexican fare.

They're OK. Not really Mexican food though, more like chicken shawarma in a tortilla. Still decent for a quick bite and it can be tasty depending on what fixins you add to it.

Consistently delicious. Red Burrito always offers tasty, fresh, and healthy food. The quality is consistently high and you can customize your burrito to your liking. The burritos are substantial and can even be enough for two meals if you're not extremely hungry.

Why the low ratings?. I've never been a big fan of Mexican food (even in Mexico), but after going to Red Burrito I am a fan. I haven't been going to the right places! My food was so good. I gulped it down quickly. Wow. I love the setup of this place too. About the service, they did take the orders from two separate people who were behind me in line, before taking my order…I suppose I could have said something earlier so I won't blame them. Other than that, great service.

I have driven past this restaurant for years on my way to Highway 1, and finally decided to give it a try. The menu is small and straightforward, but has everything you need for a quick meal. I ordered the red burrito on a tomato wrap with spicy beef and all the toppings, along with some guacamole and a Corona to wash it down. I thought it was very tasty, although I consider myself a burrito expert and believe that my homemade ones are unbeatable.
