Platform 7 in Kits is a bustling cafe with a cool vibe and fantastic coffee. The staff, while not overly welcoming, are friendly and provide great service. The decor is unique and cozy, making it a perfect spot for catching up with friends. The Stumptown Milkshake is a must-try, though other menu items may be hit or miss. Despite some pricing and flavor issues, this cafe is worth a visit for its drinks. Overall, Platform 7 receives a solid rating of 3.5 out of 5, with the Stumptown Milkshake being a standout item. Perfect for a rainy Vancouver day or meeting up with friends.
GORGEOUS place to get coffee. The interior is soooo cute and special. Coffee was top tier, baked good were perfection. Wish we lived in Vancouver to go back more frequently but maybe it's good for my wallet if I don't ? 100% recommend.
Really nice little spot, feels like a train station somewhere in Europe : the coffee is great and the atmosphere is awesome, has a bunch of booths, but gets busy in the morning. No plugs, one hr free internet.
This cute coffeeshop has some of the most unique interior decorations! It’s such a lovely atmosphere to sit and catch up with friends. I felt with the music and chatter it would be a bit loud for a study session. I got the hot chocolate and thought it was pretty good.
Located on Broadway in Kits, this cafe is a popular hangout spot that is often bustling with customers. I was fortunate enough to find a seat and decided to try the Stumptown Milkshake and Deluxe Ham Breakfast. The milkshake was enjoyable, with a strong coffee flavor that was not too sweet. However, the Deluxe Ham Breakfast sandwich was a bit disappointing, as it lacked seasoning and flavor. The prices are slightly high, but reasonable considering the quality of the food. While I am not a fan of cafe culture, I believe this place is worth a visit just for their drinks. The Stumptown Milkshake received a 4 out of 5 rating, while the Deluxe Ham Breakfast received a 3 out of 5. Overall, I would give this cafe a rating of 3.5 out of 5 for its food and pricing. I would recommend trying the Stumptown Milkshake when visiting this cafe.
After finding the one in the Granview area, I decided to visit the one on Broadway as well. Once again, the interior was designed to resemble a platform at a train station. This cafe is truly unique and I absolutely love it! Unlike the other location, this one was not as crowded, possibly because it was a weeknight in the early evening. The restaurant is clean and has a hipster vibe. Even though the concrete wall is fake, it adds to the fun Disney-like atmosphere of the place.
