We popped in for a quick lunch and enjoyed some lovely dim sum and noodles. Service was quick and friendly and we also came back for a takeaway a few days later.

My first and one of my favourite places for sushi. full japanese menu, but locals go for sushi. the best umi shishu maki ever. the ebi, salmon, nigari, yellow tale and squid sushi top-notch. great california rolls. gomae salad terrific. always crowded. always a line-up. tables very close together. go here for the food, not the ambiance. family owned japanese restaurant w/ great food and service. service sometimes a little slow due to crowds. from here you can walk to stanley park to wear off the calories or drop in after a hard day's shopping on robson street. i travel miles to eat here. parking hard in the west end. easily accessible by bus. a must if you like sushi.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and tried some delicious dim sum and noodles. The service was quick and friendly, and we liked it so much that we returned a few days later for a takeout order.

This is my first and one of my favorite places for sushi. They have a full Japanese menu, but locals come here for the sushi. The Umi shishu maki is the best I have ever had. The Ebi, salmon, nigari, yellowtail, and squid sushi are all top-notch. They also have a large California roll and a delicious gomae salad. The restaurant is always full with a constant line-up, and the tables are very close together. It's best to come here for the dinner, not for the ambiance. The family-owned Japanese restaurant offers big portions and excellent service, although it can sometimes be slow during peak times. After dining here, you can take a walk to Stanley Park to burn off the calories or explore Robson Street after a day of shopping. I would travel miles just to eat here. Parking can be difficult in the area, but the restaurant is easily accessible by bus. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves sushi.
